We have extensive experience of hands on Towmaster scopes of work ranging from mobile offshore drilling unit, jack up work platforms and barges to and from offshore work sites, in port tow movements, dead ship moves in and out of drydock and the movement of towed objects of all types in often challenging conditions.

 

We can attend to the entire scope from the planning, towing vessel selection and interface phases through to pre-departure tow preparations including risk assessments, Marine Warranty Surveyor and Port Agency liaison.

 

Depending on requirements we can also advise on positioning system solutions and ride the tow or lead tug during the transit phase of the operation.

 

Whether for the purposes of the UK Port Marine Safety Code, IMO MSC/Circ.884, marine warranty requirements or prevailing industry best practices, we routinely prepare towing method statements,  transportation manuals and passage plans for towages and can provide a turnkey solution from initial enquiry through to the safe completion of the tow.
